Medicinal Leech and Cosmetics
Over the course of leech treatment, doctors had noticed amazing transformations that took place in certain cases. After two or three courses of treatment some people looked younger – complexion improved, skin became firmer, wrinkles grew smaller. This effect, however, was not a regular occurrence. Moreover, the treatment was associated with an unpleasant bleeding from the wounds. Oleg Kamenev, who comes from a family of doctors, and is the author of many works on the hirudotherapy, was intrigued by this effect. Thus began the research, which ultimately lead to the creation of a whole line of rejuvenating Hiruline cosmetic products. These products are smart – unlike others, this cosmetic line has a philosophical basis.
